Our legacy
Honouring Sylvia McCollin
Project West proudly acknowledges the invaluable contribution of Sylvia McCollin, whose dedication, compassion and commitment helped shape the organisation during its formative years.
Working alongside Pauline Bennett, Sylvia played an important role in establishing Project West as a trusted organisation committed to supporting children and families through periods of family change. Her kindness, professionalism and unwavering belief in putting children first remain an important part of the values that continue to guide the organisation today.
Although Sylvia is no longer with us, her legacy continues to be reflected in the way Project West approaches its work, with integrity, respect, compassion and a steadfast commitment to the welfare of children. She will always be remembered with gratitude and affection for the difference she made to the lives of so many children, families and colleagues.
Our Commitment
Project West continues to build upon the principles that Sylvia helped establish, treating every family with dignity, providing professional and impartial services, and ensuring that the welfare of children remains at the heart of every decision.
