Our Family Support service provides practical, relationship-based support to children and families within the family home and the community. Support is planned around identified needs and agreed outcomes. It can help families strengthen relationships, develop confidence and improve daily routines while working alongside parents and referring professionals.
Where safe and appropriate, early Family Support may help prevent family difficulties from escalating and may reduce the likelihood of family breakdown or Local Authority care. Before work begins, Project West will agree a written service contract setting out the work to be undertaken, responsibilities, professional boundaries, reporting arrangements and payment arrangements. The current pricing schedule will be supplied or attached separately.
