Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do
Every decision we make at Project West begins with the safety and wellbeing of the child. Our policies are reviewed annually and shape every aspect of our practice.
Our safeguarding commitment
Project West is committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child is heard, respected and protected. All staff and volunteers complete enhanced DBS checks, regular safeguarding training and ongoing supervision. We work closely with local authorities, schools and other professionals to keep children at the centre of everything we do.

Raising a concern
If you have a concern about a child, or about anything that has happened at Project West, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead. We take every concern seriously and will respond promptly and confidentially.
If a child is in immediate danger, please call 999 straight away.
