Professional Biography
Pauline Bennett is the Founder and Manager of Project West Assessment & Contact Services and has more than 40 years of professional experience across health, social care and the family justice system.
Pauline began her professional career as a qualified nurse before qualifying as a social worker. She later completed a Master of Laws (LLM) in Child Law, further strengthening her expertise in safeguarding, children's welfare and family justice.
For 28 years Pauline served as a Children's Guardian, representing the interests of children involved in complex public law proceedings. During this time she worked closely with the Family Court, Cafcass, Local Authorities, solicitors, barristers and other professionals to ensure that children's voices remained central to decision-making.
Drawing upon this extensive experience, Pauline established Project West to provide safe, welcoming and professionally managed services for children and families experiencing separation or family change. Under her leadership, Project West has supported children and families for over 20 years and has developed a reputation for professionalism, integrity, safeguarding and child-focused practice.
